- SKL, DTD, OR STD with a Fill Cable & Key (RS-232 protocol)
- Console port is RJ45 copper from Taclane to admin laptop
- Un-classified admin laptop using Windows OS
- Taclane Plain Text (PT) & Crypto Text (CT) is either LC Fiber Optic or CAT5e or higher cable

Media converters may be required from Single Mode (SM) to Multimode (MM) if you wish to utilize the fiber optic connections on the Taclane
Request a Circuit from DISAβ
- Start a Telecommunication Service Request (TSR) from DISA
- 2 Options to make request
- Contact Circuit Actions POC at mission partner location
- Create an account with DISA to input the request locally
- Account creation will be required from SNAP/SGS website to make the request
- Failure to register and obtain an IATC/ATC for your connection will delay service activation
- Connection Approval Office (CAO) email: DISA.MEADE.RE.MBX.UCAO@MAIL.MIL

Ensure circuit is requested as Classified so that near end COMSEC office will be notified to secure crypto keys for Taclane(s)

Receive a Telecommunication Service Order (TSO) β DISA
- Contact info for both near and distant ends will be contained within the TSO text document
- TSO will contain the Provider Edge (PE) Router information on both ends. Including the Customer Edge (CE) router model
- Command Communications Service Designator (CCSD) will be established

Work with distant end and near end POCs stated within the TSO. Normally their title will be either Circuit Actions or Node Site Coordinator to facilitate location for your equipment
